If you want lame advice DON'T do this!
If someone asks for genuine advice on a subject/product I have experience with, I will give it honestly.  If someone chooses to "take me to task" for said advice and has no pics of their system, and nothing other than their word on what they own ...
Maintaining Optimal Electrical Connections
I've used DeOxit to clean connections, but mostly on old equipment that was sitting around collecting dust (think....1990's Yamaha amp that has sat in the closet for 20 years). Worked very well to remove crust and crud, but can't really speak to ...

@kota1  I think this is coming it a bit high. Sometimes, a flat-line measurement isn't what's best, and I personally don't think someone needs to measure their room to get the best sound. The best measurable response? Possibly. But certainly not...
Why Don’t You Post Your System on Your Profile?
When the conversation stops being about the music, I'm out. I think it's time this thread died.
Best Kept Speaker Secret?
Holy blast from the past, Batman!
Cable elevators
@vitussl101 , I have about 40 of them on an old clothesline holder out back. $40 a piece? *whistles* And to think, I was going to cut down the clothesline holder and throw it out, lol.
Wall outlets
@mc1969 , sure you do. These things come with a 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee, you know. 😉 The fact that you don't have your system posted, and more importantly, used the term "snake oil" in your response above, as well as your need t...
Wall outlets
@mc1969 , electricity has no sound. But the stuff you plug into it sure does. The goal here is not create a simple circuit, but to get the most out of your equipment.  I don't see your system listed, so perhaps a simple $.89 Leviton outlet from H...
Wall outlets
Following and very interested in hearing of your experience. I've thought about getting a SR outlet....as I primarily use them for my cables, interconnects, tweeks, etc.....(why not, right?), but am open to Furutech.
dacs that I have had in my system - a listing
The absolute definition of "Chasing the Dragon".
To Tone or Not to Tone, that is the question.
@mahgister , That's the most comprehendible thing you've said in weeks.....just saying. It's all just a tool. I like it. @deadhead1000 , I'm running a Classe CP-800 preamp into a Classe-CA2200 amp. Not sure why I'd need another amp.  To all, I...
"Can You Lift Yours?"
I'm in the process of moving, so I feel your pain. I tweaked my back, but decided to continue moving my stereo equipment.  Bad idea. My amp weighs about 85 lbs and it nearly killed me moving it up a flight of steps. Speakers are about 80lbs ea...
Why Don’t You Post Your System on Your Profile?
I've been called worse, lol.
Why Don’t You Post Your System on Your Profile?
@edcyn Wrapped in a conundrum? Lol.
