magnepan
Magnepan has long been considered a "best in price range" speaker.  What with the Covid years of people not wanting to work and lots of people buying audio gear they simply cannot keep up with orders.  Or service.  Tough problem to have.
Maybe the Journey is Over?........Well......
You know it ain't over till it's over. It's always something.  If it's not one thing, it's something else. [Rosanne Rosanna Danna]
Have you asked yourself this question?
Whenever anyone takes a look at my setup [Thorens] they aske to hear some vinyl and I am happy for the interest.  I stream 90% of the time, but I do enjoy the old-fashioned stuff too.
Steely Dan UHQR
Far be it from me to spend $150 on a record.  That said, I love Steely Dan.

Higher-End Class A/B vs. Class A Integrateds
Class A will usually have a warmer sound signature.  My Hegel H390 has a somewhat warm yet nicely articulated sound.  I like it paired with my Maggie 3.7's.  And yes, class A runs much hotter and takes more juice, even when it's not making music.
Have you found your "End-Game" speakers yet? I have. And it feels so good!!!
I consider my Maggie 3.7's to be endgame.  But whenever I go to Axpona, there is always another one that trips my trigger.
Big speakers, are they really the best way to get great sound?
I am pretty sure that a lot us us who at retirement age simply cannot tolerate extremely loud rooms [tinnitus related].  So anything at high decibels blurs SQ.  The louder it gets, the more problems the room will face. And the less I appreciate it.
Finally arrived !!
@Ronboco.  See, there's usually a wise guy somewhere.
ARE AUDIOPHILES OVERLY SENSITIVE BY NATURE?FEELINGS AND OPINIONS?
@Ronboco, don't be afraid to ask questions to our group.  There is a lot of knowledge and experience here, and you might still scratch your head afterwards.  Opinions vary so much.  And usually, you will find a wise guy in here somewhere.  No fing...
Is there miracles in audio experience ?
I do not know if I would call them miracles.  Magic is more like it. The most seemingly insignificant adjustment when everything seems to align harmoniously and brings amazement to the experience is where I am coming from.

I do not know how that little piece of thread got stuck to the stylus.  I do clean the stylus with that little brush in a bottle, the thread didn't come off with that.  So I pulled on it and it came off cleanly.  Records sound like they should now.

After checking all settings and they are correct, I inspected for tonearm angle and tracking weight, which was only a little off, I finally checked the azimuth carefully.  What I found was it too was setup correctly, BUT, a fabric fiber was stuck ...

@atmasphere, you are right. I fiddle-faddled with the loading adjustments until I was satisfied.  Took awhile but worth the effort.  Yet I might invest in a better cart one of these days.

Thanks, everyone, for the tips.  I will try some of these and reply as soon as I have success.
