Benefits of adding a 10MHz Master Clock to a digital system
I haven't tried it. I was at several friends' houses who had clock systems, like 5 yrs ago and never heard a difference - with or without. Maybe I just don't have those 'Golden Ears'.

@antigrunge2 Sorry - even goldenear has tested and shown that external clocks MAKES IT WORSE. There have been others that showed the EXACT same thing. If you have blind tested - your ears are filling in the extra information.

Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
Well, they are drilled through the wall open to the inside.
Thin Line Between Critique and Courtrooms: A Dialogue on the Recent Audiophile Drama
The point is, I haven’t seen a negative review of ANY audio product in the press in a long time. It is usually glowing words. Going to ask an honest question, with a experience of mine from another consumer product. I worked for a whiskey produce...

@rooze Exactly. It seems some want it only their way. This especially true since prices in the audio world are going up faster than Elon Musk's rockets.

@atmasphere Your reply is part of the issue. A good reviewer is there to give information to their audience, not stroke the egos of the manufacturers. That was the way IT USED to be.  I will use a car review as an example. How would you deal with...

@atmasphere  WOW - so there can be no negative reviews because the reviewer has a bone to pick. That is a condescending attitude.  Then why send out equipment to be reviewed at all except to stroke the ego of the manufacturer?

Well, I put up a post saying I would like to find other like-minded people for listening/social interactions. I was part of SMAC (Southeast Michigan Audio Club) for a few years, and this is what they did. Had meetings at people's houses. I am wil...
The Absolute Sound posts a video about a new product development from Magnepan, but...
I have heard many of Danny's supposed tweaks - IMHO nothing really there. Just me though.

I have heard several DAC designers STATE unequivocally that external clocks are only useful for instances where you need to sync clocks of several pieces of equipment, otherwise the internal clock is the best.  I will not argue with the experts.

The point is there are reviews with no feet actually posted on Tekton’s website that do not use the feet on the speakers that he knocked for the review.  This is just another MQA kerfuffle again.
Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
Well, the issue being Tekton has review videos of the speakers Eric reviewed and guess what they had no feet on them when, for example, Steve Guttenberg reviewed them, Why threaten to sue one and not the other - they both didn’t have the feet on....
FAKE NEWS - NEGATIVE REVIEWS NOT ALLOWED!!
People who say equipment needs breaking in - NOPE. If it doesn’t sound good out of the box, for me at least, it never changes. That said hotel rooms are notorious for being hard to setup properly and many just don’t have the time. I know I have do...
