Should Amps be plugged into a power conditioner? When I was at a local dealer hosting McIntosh, one of their amplifier engineer/designer was there, and said amps should not be plugged into a power conditioner. The Power Supply, properly designed, does not need it and it lowers the draw rate of t...

Audiovector QR7 or B&W 702 S3 to Diablo 300? Not impressed with Joseph Audio. I find his designs mediocre sounding and too expensive. Prefer the B&W.

Best Plasma sony, pioneer.Panasonic ? Pioneers are decent, especially if buy the PDP-4330 (for a 43" plasma - it is a commercial model). This is because they have a card slot that you can add connections with. A few others have this, but Pioneer is great about that. The blacks could b...

Wharfedale Emerald 93 Opinions I forgot to mention that Wharfedale is now owned by IAG, which owns Qaud also. I think they are trying to bring back this speaker name.
Wharfedale Emerald 93 Opinions I own two sets of Wharfedales - Diamond 7.2's and the MFM-1's. They are not bad speakers for the money, especially the Diamonds - read a review on them.http://www.tnt-audio.com/casse/wharf72e.htmlDave
Which speaker is the master of IMAGING ???? I think you could get as many answers as people on this forum. I think this is a 'non-question'. I think if the speaker is of decent quality and setup properly, one should get a decent image from it.Dave
Opinions - Best ever Adcom model??? What about pre-amp/amp combos. I am in the process of acquiring an Adcom GFP-1 preamp to go along with a 1979 Mitsubishi DA-A10DC amp (dno't laugh - it is a powerhouse amp!!).Dave |
