Top 3 Most Overrated Artists contest in R&R.
Oh, you are actually serious! I am not a churchgoing man, but I will pray for you, as anyone who speaks poorly about The Rolling Stones is certainly troubled and not of sound musical taste. Fellow Audiogoners, may we all bow our heads at this time...

Czarivey,The Rolling Stones? Are you drunk?
Marantz service
Get credit card's purchase date and kindly explain to your dealer it is their responsibility to replace it with a properly working unit. If they refuse, kindly explain to them you will see them in court. I had to do this over an expensive Denon re...
How quiet is your Rogue Sphinx?
Yep, don't convince yourself the speaker hum is acceptable, as your pre should never have left the manufacturer exhibiting hum. Gear is just too expensive not to work perfectly, and that means no hum.
accuphse p6100 vs avm OVATIONsa8.2
Yes, try ManogonÂ…there are some awesome deals (used, of course).
Why Oh Why...another
This happened to me a while back, and it turned out that one of my ICs was touching one of the metal bars on my rack. Even though the IC was insulated, this caused a hum in that channel (odd). I also got a hum once when my pre's IC was touching my...
Pass M2 so good, $80K Pass mono that much better?
Cannot agree more about the M2. I recently purchased one to mate with my Spendor SP 1/2s and Quicksilver pre and am gobsmacked at how utterly natural this amp conveys music. IMO, it is a hidden gem, and I also cannot imagine how good Pass's higher...
Any skipping issues with the Koala tube CD player?
Awesome news, Actas I suggest never listening to my posts ever again...ha ha!
Any skipping issues with the Koala tube CD player?
Actas,Sounds like you have already lost enough on this I say it't time to toss it and find a more reliable one. Life is too short to deal with unreliable gear and repair folks who don't know what they are doing.
Hum problem - help
Also, try the following:1] Grounding just your preamp and using cheater plugs for everything else.2] Reversing the AC prongs on ONE amp only. If not better, then the other.3] Try unplugging all source RCAs from your preamp. If hum gone, add back i...
audiphile power cords
No, they do not make a difference, and McIntosh proved it back in the 60s with a detailed and correctly carried out series of blind listening tests. Ever seen vintage Mac power cords? There's your answer.
Just Pulled The Trigger
Rlb61,It will sound better because your mind will tell your ears that it should sound better. So, yes, it will sound better.
Does anyone love the First Watt SIT2
Have not heard the SIT, but I have his M2, a zero-feedback, Class A 25 watt beauty. It is the smoothest and least fatiguing amp I have ever had (tube or SS), and needless to say, I am Nelson Pass's newest devotee. The man knows good sound.
Heads-Up: ARC introducing new G Series
Good for them. It's too bad that the prices are a joke.
John Mayer - Opened My Ears
Yep, highly underrated in every meaningful category. I also happen to feel he is a superb songwriter. I have nearly all of his albums, and IMO they are all good in their own way.
