| Too Much Power More often than not, not enough power. Got the Parasound Halo A21+, class A/B, 500 watts per channel @4 ohms feeding my PBN Montana XPS speakers and the first 6 watts are pure class A. Not too much heat and packs a wallop. | |

| Dust cover up or down? VPI Classic, custom cover fully off when playing, back on when not. Pro-ject debut III, cover with hinges, up when playing, down when not. It really has a lot to do with the design and quality of the TT and cart. | |
| Is a separate phono pre really necessary? @smanuel PS Audio Stellar phono preamp. Custom setting allows easy setting to exactly 470 ohms or whatever you need up to 1000 ohms. No brainer to me. BTW, Michael Fremer feels the same about it. | |
