Oracle Delphi mk3 is it worth it

Hey everyone about two years ago I got a Rega rp8 with a Dynavector xx2mkII cartridge love it. But recently a guy at my dealer is privately selling a oracle Delphi MK3 with a SME5 for a steel of a deal. Only two owners in its life. Should a guy jump on it, will it out porform my Rega. Plus can a guy get the older switches relpaced wit the new aluminum housing and matching switches?

yes grab it they are stellar tables for the used money and Oracle have many upgrades for that vintage. Mk3 is were you start getting into the more advanced Delphi’s and MK3 can be upgraded almost to the mk6 status.

Great great table, great arm, fun combination.  Steal of a price is subjective.

The arm alone is a huge improvement over your Rega. Just buy it!!

Make sure it’s an original mk3. There are many that have been partially upgraded and claimed to be a mk3. The mk3 is the turning point with new suspension towers. I have seen some mk2 retrofitted with new towers and usually a botched up job by oracle. Buyer beware.
