Question of power


I currently have 3 dedicated 20amp lines to power my system.  2 seven-channel amps have dedicated lines as required by the manufacturer and the prepro and sources are plugged into a Panamax 5300 PM on the third.  I’m looking to move the equipment to a different part of my basement and am curious would an Audioquest Niagara 7000 or PS AUDIO P10 powerplant cover me off for everything if it had its own dedicated line?  Would likely be a lot less mess and maybe about the same cost than having to rerun electrical.

Depends on your idle and maximum power draws, but no power conditioner can put out more power than the outlet has (except for very short periods of time). 

Why do you use 14 channels of amplification? And what amps are you using?

I have a 7.2.4 surround system. Front three channels are biamped w custom Y-interconnects. System specs below. 

I read specs with the audioquest where it said it can handle 90 amps peak current which makes me believe it has some kind of power storage capacity and can deliver for brief periods more power than the outlet. But I could be misunderstanding.

Wow, that's quite a system, and a very good supply of current.
Why not contact AQ directly? Or, at least a dealer like John Rutan at Audioconnection?

Power conditioners do not make electricity (the same way pumps can't make water when the source dries up). Your amps each draw 12 amnps and that's why the mfr requires a dedicated line because the 120 volt outlet will most likely "dry up" by a tripped  circuit breaker when two amps are installed. You definitely need two circuits minimum regardless of what power conditioner is used.
