Honestly the first thing I would do is get a DAC, it looks like your using the analog outputs of the Bluesound. A good reasonably priced DAC would improve the sound of your streamer quite a bit. Tons of good threads on DACs here I would recommend browsing a few of them.
You choose.....
My primary system needs help... Just curious what you would do in the upgrade path from here. I am not a deep pocketed audiophile.. I am a shallow pocketed music enthusiast.
I have been considering the LFD line of integrateds as I hear they are amazingly musical.
Here's what I got .. How would you improve?
Sources:
-Bluesound Node 2
-JA Michele Gyrodec (Mk I) w zeta tonearm and sumiko talisman HO MC cart(this is not going anywhere.. its my forever table)
-TV
Pre Amp: NAD 165 BEE
Power: Red Dragon M1000 Monoblocks (MK I)
Speakers (I do a lot of switching in and out):
-Green Mountain Audio Continuum I
-Green Mountain Audio Continuum .5
- Magnepan MMG
-Spatial Audio Hologram M3 turbo S
-Anthony Gallo Reference 3.1
-DIY Nola Brio Trio clones
Subs:
- Paradigm Monitor 12-- Stereo Pair
I listen to an equal amount of digital and vinyl. I value instrument separation, sound stage, detail, and impact. My listening varies wildly from jazz to EDM, with an emphasis on jazz and funk. Any thoughts on upgrade path would be very much appreciated. And in case it wasn't clear, I'm not looking to get new speakers.. I have a range of them to suit different purposes and moods.

The LFD does not list specs. The integrated does not include a phono preamp. What is your budget? You will need an integrated that includes a phono stage or you will need an outboard one! www.fidelisav.com/category/lfd/ |
