I have a pair of fully active Legacy Audio Calibre speakers (They were a special order). No passive crossover in the speakers and each driver has its own amp. The crossover is executed digitally in the Wavelet processor and is controlled by IPad. I also run a single subwoofer with them. I have control of each of the 4 amplifier levels and six bands of fixed tone controls right from my listening chair. I wish there was a little finer control of tone at times, but for the most part it works really well.
Why no speakers with remote control tone controls?
It baffles me that most speakers don't have this!!!. You get up and make an adjustment then sit back down then repeat repeat!!!!! If I was a gadget creator I'd make a device with fingers to move the settings! Hello manufacturers are you listening? Thanks for letting me vent.
