As long as it's not copyrighted material, that's fine.

This can be useful in an emergency or just for fun. The downside is that if the recording is of high enough quality, it may also contain audio of drug use or other adult content.

I have a friend named "Norm". Edited the snippet from Rush's "Vital Signs" from their album "Moving Pictures". Whenever he calls I hear Geddy Lee singing "From the Norm..."
