Sounds like you may be talking about the Allsop Orbitrac. It’s still around. I have 2 that I never use. I think they’re OK, but you can’t compare them to a good vacuum machine, much less an ultrasonic. Better than nothing I guess.
Thank you for your response and information, it is appreciated. |

Here: Search for this on Amazon…Lazy Susan Turntable Organizer, Non Skid Large Lazy Susan Turntable for Cabinet, Computer or Laptop, Plastic Turn Table, Black 10 in, 1 PC - by RamPro Just glue (epoxy) an appropriately sized flat head screw to the centre and add a rubber or cork mat… and you have a manual TT for cleaning |
@ticat What I'm looking for is specific for hand cleaning records and is already manufactured. |
I made mine from a a Lazy Suzan, it is a set up that is set slightly of vertical and a added Spindle penetrating through to the rear enables a Battery Drill to be attached. I now have variable spin speed and a Clockwise / Anti clockwise rotation. Another type of attached drill would give non-rotate pneumatic action, but I am yet to convince myself the action is a benefit, it would be more akin to a clean and massage |
