Where R U?????

All us regulars are familiar with the “Who R U” thread started by my buddy David. I met my first local audiophile friend last weekend, their aren’t many of us up here, and we have similar taste in music, and gear for that matter too! David is also ‘close’ to me(about 2-3 hour drive) other then that there is NO one, perhaps some of us are closer to each other then we realize. Of course some of us know where each other are, how ever there are many members I don’t know the location of. There are literally NO high fi dealers near me, so it is nice to see/hear a good system, set up by a fellow audiophile, my latest friend is so happy that he is not the only one in this area with this passion. So I am in the Albany, NY area, where are you folks from?

For the last 3-4 years, had a truely great audio store and meeting place here in Indy -- Synergistic Sound -- but the bad economy finally forced the owner to close a couple of months ago, and seek his fortune in CA, working in another industry -- probably good for him, but bad for audiopiles in the area....

If you're in the area; or otherwise, feel free to shoot me an e-mail......

At the base of PIKES PEAK in beautiful Colorado Springs Colorado. Can see the whole mountain through glass door between my Maggies. Any wonder it's my favorite wall in the house. T.
I'm still in the Cleveland,OH area. Moved to Cleveland from Brook Park last year and in two weeks I'm moving to Parma,OH into my first house. Anyone looking to get together or chat should shoot me an email through the audiogon system. I'm a panel-head, but would like to hear or discuss any types of systems or experiences you may have had. I'm thinking of perhaps taking a new direction with my system. Thanks for looking!

The drive is very easy--45 minutes for me to get to work here in Red Bank from Glen Ridge. Great town, too, whl248--you should make a point of visiting those relatives!
Rcprince...Glen Ridge isn't that far from me (about 30 minutes)...give me a shout if you want to check things out...
Hello from the south. I'm somewhat new to the high end audio market but am catching on quickly. I'm a 28 year old physician, or at least resident, in TN. I grew up in a old school marantz and altec lansing household where vinyl ruled. I'm trying to find my own space in the audiophile world and have found meridian products fit my taste. I read with much enthusiasm the threads on a daily basis and appreciated all the folks at audiogon.
Miami, Florida but I am moving 80 miles up the road to Jupiter (just north of West Palm Beach)
HI, I'm located in S.W.Ontario, 200km from nowhere in the town that time forgot-Ingersoll. Town motto-"When Canada cuts the cheese it does it with Ingersoll".

Originally from Laguna Beach California moved to Seattle in 1989. Left there in 1996 (too crowded with just as bad traffic as Cal) and now in Lake Panorama Iowa, a private lake about 40 miles west of Des Moines with no stop lights.
