I use a Furutech TP-60 power distributor with RFI damping inside. The damping is on the inside of the case and does not touch the wiring. You get full power and amperage.
Where can find the circuit of this power distributor
So I bought this unit from Madisound but I found the sound is slightly more rounded than I like. It supposedly filters high frequency RF so it would not get to the component, but it seems like it may have filtered out a little too much.I opened it up but the circuit is well bolted in the internal housing it's a little bit difficult to access. Just wondering if anyone know what component it might be using.

Maybe your power cable is causing the rolled-off highs. Or the power strip needs some break-in time. The website states that this unit uses " Non-Intrusive Filtering, a mild transient filter. " It should not affect dynamics unless you are using an amp with a high current draw. Some amps don’t perform well running thru filtering. Try running it continuously for a day or 2. |
