@boxer12 Thank you. It is, very slowly. ["Hope all is coming back in place for you.]
Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Focus, “Moving Waves” Vinyl. What a blast from the past! The Doors, “The Doors” DCC CD The Cars, “Heartbeat City” MFSL SACD Pink Floyd, “DSOTM” Analog Productions SACD. This is the one to get. I have over 20 different versions of this recording and this latest remixed record is by far, the absolute best sound. On all the other recordings of “Money” there is a part that sounds etched and distorted on every other recording, but not on this one! Just pure perfection. At the end of “On The Run”, just before the chimes of the clocks from “Time”, you can now hear very distinctly the persons footsteps as he runs from one speaker to the other. It now sounds he ran across the room and it is no longer hard to hear in the mix. There are many other examples of this on the recording and all is brought out to true life. Even if you have as many versions of this record as I have, you really need to get this one, it is that good! The sound is supposed to be even better in the 5.1 mis which is also on the SACD but I only do 2 channel stereo so I can’t comment on it. |

Nicola Benedetti --- Baroque (Classical / Violin) [ "Decca Classics is thrilled to announce a new Baroque album from violinist Nicola Benedetti. This is the first album she has released on a period set-up including gut strings, and she is joined by a leading group of freelance baroque musicians, forming the Benedetti Baroque Orchestra - for the very first time. The album features a selection of concerti by Vivaldi plus Geminiani’s incredible arrangement of Corelli’s La Folia, one of the oldest western classical themes which has been arranged by many composers over time, particularly in the baroque era. Geminiani was one of the greatest violinists of the era and Corelli was one of his teachers whilst growing up in Italy. Later when he moved to London, Geminiani reworked a number of Corelli’s works for local audiences including this arrangement of La Folia. © Decca Classics" ] |
