Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

nutty
Mark knopfler real live road running. Be sure to turn your system up for the instruments in Our shangri
I don't think I have their Signals album, I'll have to add it to my want list. If I do have it it's probably still packed away. I have about 12 bins full to go through still.

Tonights turntable is featuring:
1. The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" (Original Master Recording)
2. Dokken "Tooth and Nail (I'm not sure I've ever heard this band, the album is actually decent.)
3. The Firm "The Firm" (A Firm choice to close the night off)

Dustin,  if this is your first listen to Dokken then you gotta  hear Under Lock & Key and Back for the Attack.
Golden Earring
"Tits & Ass"
Another great album from one of my favorite bands.
They have been around longer than the stones!😎

I actually saw The Firm in concert in Cincinnati when they toured. Jimmy and Paul were amazing. They played Kashmir! The Bassist Chris Slade has been around as well.
If you like Dokken, check out Lynch Mob. It is a solo project of George Lynch the lead guitarist of Dokken. The first CD, Wicked Sensation is really good.

arcamm88,
Good call on Golden Earing. Love the band.
Also thanks for the recommendation on Nazareth, "Rampant".

Smb Bingo is good stuff and nice recording.

You got that right, Bubba! Andy Johns is the man!

Hanging out at a friends house listening to his CDs:

The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" (just to compare to my vinyl, I'm happy to report I can tell the difference.)
Rush "Signals" (You guys recommended and it did not disappoint)
a few random SACDs.

For reference his system consists of Sony S9000, B&K Ref 50, Carver TFM-55x, Martin Logan Odyssey, and 2 M&K 350 THX subs.
Last week arcamm88 recommend Golden Earring " Tits and Ass". I'm a big GE fan but have not listened to T&A until today. I also recommend it! I have heard a lot of their music but they have over 40 albumns! Formed in 1961, they have been around longer than The Rolling Stones. So if you get a chance to check out some of their other music, besides Moontan, do it.

Here is a very good example of some of their tallent. "Going to the Run" Live, acoustic.

Seriously underrated band IMHO. Listen to this "greatest hits" record and try not to tap your foot, bob your head, sing OUT LOUD and thrust a fist into the air. I dare you.....

Candlebox, Disappearing in Airports

The latest effort from 2016 is very good. Solid effort again from the Seattle based band. Listen to "God's Gift".

Joe Satriani, various.
However I came across this on YouTube. Apparently Joe Satriani, Greg Kihn and drummer Jeff Campatelli briefly formed a pop band called The Squares. Campatelli was named as a top 50 best drummers by Rolling Stone Ragazine. Here is a sample.
