Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

new Vinnie Moore - soul shifter

nuclear assault - survive

Evenstorm - night in gale
Nancy Wilson / Cannonball Adderley  ---  Wilson and Adderley (Vocal Jazz Standards)
Panola County Spirit - Walker Family Singers (Religious / Black Gospel)  [Fantastic, in my opinion, for a cappella fans]
Great Pine .... Seagulls.

Small West Virginia based band released on a local record store label, have to support these type of efforts.
The Concert For Garcia Lorca  ---  Ben Sidran  (Contemporary / Vocal Jazz)
uber,
Looks like Great Pine from the Seagulls is sold out on bandcamp :-(

Would you categorize them as electric folk, or are they different than that?
Boxer.
More just alternative indie.
Not much folk influence IMHO.

Trying to think who they are similar too but nothing coming to mind right now☹️☹️

Think two for sale used on discogs.

Let's Rock .... The Black Keys.

Last time I played this I was not particularly impressed.
It has definitely grown on me!
ironically, i played the new Biff Byford, and the new Primal Fear cds tonight
and when they were done i played some Bathory, not kowing, the Father of Thomas Forsberg (Bathory fame) passed away a while back. I was shocked.

Been playing Hammerheart, The return, requiem, and blood on ice as a tribute to a great producer/songwriter.

Most in here will not care, or know who he was, but true rivethed will know.

Rip "Boss"

Newest Pat Travers cd in cue: Retro Rocket

followed by:UFO - no place to run
April Maze and London Grammar followed Keith Jarrett and Jason Moran. It's been a 'weird' evening. : )
Now and Zen, Robert Plant. With a little help from Page on two tracks. All digital but prior to the Loudness Wars so nice and dynamic. Led Zeppelin meets The Cars.
A bunch of DSD, 88/24, 96/24 and 192/24 downloads from Acoustic Sounds and HDTracks.

New and notable and not previously available on SACD, DVD-A or Blu-ray Audio discs is Paul Simon’s Graceland, some of Tom Petty’s back catalog and the Eagles complete studio albums.

New Allison Krauss Windy City is fantastic. ... k.d. Lang’s newly remastered Ingenue album is musically and sonically a masterpiece and stunning with a great DAC.
Hey Nutty.
Just received my copy of Snow Live on vinyl, 3 LP in white.

It's spectacular!!
A track by Lucifer's Friend recorded in 1974. From their Banquet album, here's "Spanish galleon" ‐ Remastered.

Good to hear on Windy City as I can tell you the vinyl version is pretty poor. I was very dissapointed in the SQ of it.
