Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Simon and Garfunkel  - Bridge... Mofi one step,  I think this is the best sounding vinyl I have
Years ago, I went to an estate sale. The deceased was a professor at a local college. There were hundreds of lps. Back then, I was ignorant and uninformed. If I had it all to do over again??

Anyway, I now own a few 6-eye Miles lps. They cost me $1.00 each.

Lucinda Williams  "West"
Son Volt - "straightaways" - 20th Anniversary Edition - Record Store Day Exclusive
@boxer12  you are correct, it is a great album and the fact that this copy sounds so amazing just takes it to a whole other level. It feels special to play it.

Dire Straits  - Brothers in Arms
Isao Suzuki  - Blow Up - the first song is one of the best microphoned songs I have ever heard. Incredible. Highly recommended, you can find relatively inexpensive copies on Discogs.
Paul Simon  - Graceland reissue

@slaw that is an awesome find on the 6 eye miles. I really need some good estate finds like that
Hey @boxer12,

Have you heard any of Ty Segall’s latest stuff? I think he’s released 2 lps this year that I’m interested in hearing about.
………………………….
The Royal Southern Brotherhood  "Don't Look Back"
Slaw, I have not. He is a great guitarist but I'm a little hesitant of buying his stuff without hearing it soemwhere else first or getting a recommendation from another audiophile. The last one I bought from him was "Lemons" & was mastered badly.
@boxer12,

He is an interesting artist. Although I've kept my eye out for him, the only lp I own is "Hair". I've enjoyed it every time I've played it.
This lp cover has been staring at me for a week.. (""Not that there's anything wrong with that""

I decided it would be my last lp played today. Porcupine Tree "Lightbulb Sun"

Not bad...not bad at all...……...
today I started out with Frank Zappa Shut up and play your guitar, the complete 3Lp set, then London symphony orchestra than Hot Rats. next it was Halestorm vicious, next up was savoy brown SCT, them blink 182, Dave Matthews band come tomorrow then Fozzy do you wanna start a war, then disturbed evolution, by this time I started to here a tapping coming from the people that live above me, guess it was a little to much for the at this time, oh well what can I say, guess there not rock lovers like myself.  keep vinyl alive,, play it
Welcome vinylreeltoreel, It must have been disturbed's evolution album that finally sent them over the edge LOL.

The Magnetic Fields / Get Lost
Conor Oberst - Salutations
Joe Williams - A Man Ain't Supposed to Cry
Billy P. Corgan ‎- Ogilala
Current 93 - The Light Is Leaving Us All
The Bears - S/T

Adrian Belew + Psychodot = The Bears

Local heroes from Cincinnati, OH. Adrian is well know as a guitar virtuoso. Psychodots may be one of the best bands that never made it big.
YES - "Tormato"

I haven't spun this one in years. I enjoyed it much more than I expected. I saw the "Yes-In the Round" Tour shortly after this record was released. It was awesome!

Lunchtime Luna listening........

Luna - "Penthouse"

Record Store Day - 180G 2LP Limited Edition
Alan Parsons- I Robot Mobile Fidelity. A little noisy on some tracks. Damn good album.
Fleetwood Mac- Future GamesEmmylou Harris-Pieces of the Sky
2 Immaculate Half Price Books finds I made today. I'm not into country much...but Emmylou's voice is spectacular.
