It's like BadCo & "Dusty in Memphis" had a baby.

Last night

Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, Lake Street Dive and Bill Evans (withEddie Gomez & Jack deJohnette)at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Not a big jazz fan but this album is so well recorded,limited edition 180 gram 45 speed. You can't help really letting the music just make your day better.

@slaw

been looking forward to this one

Nick,

Are you to a point in speaker break-in that you can say the new speakers have enhanced your listening?

@slaw thanks for asking.  The Scansonics are a great improvement to my 2 channel listening.

I did not audition these before I purchased so was taking a big risk.  I trusted that the fact that the original designer of the Scansonics (Michael Børresen) also designed the Raidho speakers.  I had heard the Raidho speakers and they are stunning.

Very pleased with the decision to purchase.  You’ll have to come visit and have a listen

Gordon Lightfoot "Sundown"

MFSL/1974/before digital

Nothing sounds forced or in anyway unnatural. Really a reference lp.

Stevie Ray Vaughn - Couldn't Stand the Weather - Mofi One Step

Art Blakey - In My Prime

Radiohead - KidAmnesiac

@slaw 2010 I go see Spoon open for Arcade Fire; outdoor summer show,~sunset. Nobody knew them. First song...the whole crowd is talking. Second song...people are "hey check this one, shut up". 3rd song, "Don't You Evah", everybody's dancing and cheering like it was Zeppelin touring Zofo. Britt's energy totally infectious, undeterred, he wouldn't be stopped...a beautiful thing to watch.
