That's what I love about this thread. Can't tell you how much new music I have learned about here. What is really cool is to stream some of your recommendations in real time. So try it before you buy it!
Sounds like I am just going to have to get one of those devices from Noteworthy Acoustics. I firmly believe in doing all one can for the best grounding. As well, mechanical ground for micro-vibration drainage. All of the small things, cumulatively, just add up to greatness.
Just finished...
Country Joe & The Fish "Electric Music for the Mind and Body" pp issue in NM condition and only $4. Nice find!
Dire Straits "Communique" NM condition for only $12. Another nice find!
Jethro Tull "Benefit" The Steven Wilson remix. My copy is very flat and very quiet and the SQ is quite good. I think tonight will be a Tull night. Serving up, "Stand Up" and "A Passion Play".
From my haul of used LP’s I recieved last week, I’ve been saving this for near last. Incredible condition, the LP’s look as if they were barely played. Paid more for this than I usually do for old sets, but think it was worth it.
Amadeus Quartett : Beethoven String Quartets Op. 127‧130‧131‧132‧133‧135. Deutsche Grammophon 4LP box 1963 German release
Playing 127, and the SQ is amazing. Doubt I will get through all 4 tonight.
Linda Perhacs / Parallelograms Anyone who likes early 70's psychedelic folk should check this album out. It's really good & well recorded. IMO, The song "Parallelograms" could have been released this year & not sound out of place.
That Billie Eilish Third Man Live record I listened to last night kind of sucked. Not her or the performance, but there was a lot of surface noise on the vinyl and there was a hum throughout that made me think my turntable had lost its ground. Disappointing, especially since I paid probably more than I should have for it. But the vinyl looks pretty!
