That's what I love about this thread. Can't tell you how much new music I have learned about here. What is really cool is to stream some of your recommendations in real time. So try it before you buy it!
My music friend had a great time here today for 9 hours.
I made my famous guacamole
@slaw next time i am in my beloved low country SC, i am coming up for a listen and guacamole !,,,
@slaw

ah hell, now you have to send some to all of us 😁

Glad to hear you are hearing improvements to your system, isn’t that the way it should always be? Never ends…..😉
Blackberry Smoke - You Hear Georgia

Ya man James, I can FEEL a good one coming on !

comes out swinging from the first chord….
Matt Valentine / What I became

He is the "MV" of the band "MV & EE", which is another in the long list of weird bands I like
Sticking with California.

Cold Blood  - Sisyphus 1970 on San Francisco Records
@tomic601 LOVE Blackberry Smoke! In that same vein, if you’re not already aware, check out Rival Sons, Black Pistol Fire, and Wolfmother.

Feat- Waiting for Columbus Mofi is my choice tonight. Really liking this Grado.
@j_husker i caught them in a small venue ( Belly Up - Solana Beach ) before the @#$&$#@ world of live music went away…

they were awesome, you probably like Railroad Earth also ? will check out your recommendations.

i hear Grado has improved shielding…right on.
Sounds like I am just going to have to get one of those devices from Noteworthy Acoustics.  I firmly believe in doing all one can for the best grounding.  As well, mechanical ground for micro-vibration drainage.  All of the small things, cumulatively, just add up to greatness.

Just finished...

Country Joe & The Fish  "Electric Music for the Mind and Body"  pp issue in NM condition and only $4.  Nice find!

Dire Straits  "Communique"  NM condition for only $12.  Another nice find!

Jethro Tull  "Benefit"  The Steven Wilson remix.  My copy is very flat and very quiet and the SQ is quite good.  I think tonight will be a Tull night.  Serving up, "Stand Up" and "A Passion Play".

From my haul of used LP’s I recieved last week, I’ve been saving this for near last. Incredible condition, the LP’s look as if they were barely played. Paid more for this than I usually do for old sets, but think it was worth it.

Amadeus Quartett : Beethoven String Quartets Op. 127‧130‧131‧132‧133‧135. Deutsche Grammophon 4LP box 1963 German release

Playing 127, and the SQ is amazing. Doubt I will get through all 4 tonight.
+1 Joel!

Linda Perhacs / Parallelograms
Anyone who likes early 70's psychedelic folk should check this album out. It's really good & well recorded. IMO, The song "Parallelograms" could have been released this year & not sound out of place.
Tim,

My music friend reminded me on how great my system sounded yesterday.

Yeah!!!

There's a new degree of musical enhancement/enjoyment since I installed the phono device from Noteworthy Audio.

I cannot recommend it more highly!!!

Outstanding record! Wish more people were aware of it.
Going back to this set this morning, only got through one LP last evening…..really nice.

Amadeus Quartett : Beethoven String Quartets Op. 127‧130‧131‧132‧133‧135. Deutsche Grammophon 4LP box 1963 German release

Bootsy Collins - Ahh... The Name Is Bootsy, Baby!

That Billie Eilish Third Man Live record I listened to last night kind of sucked.  Not her or the performance, but there was a lot of surface noise on the vinyl and there was a hum throughout that made me think my turntable had lost its ground.  Disappointing, especially since I paid probably more than I should have for it.  But the vinyl looks pretty!
Billie is better after a good cleaning.  The background hum is weird and annoying though.
hey Steve - I got Black Pudding going….nice, perfectly pensive for a lazy Sunday
+1 Rubinoos @slaw! I am not alone in that guilty pleasure!

Mahavishnu Orchestra
The Inner Mounting Flame
