@flennon,

I purchased Solid Colors recently and sent it back as the seller overstated the condition
@slaw.  Terrible. I hate it when that happens.

Not for me, played once, I’m gonna sell it.

btw, 2 lps, music on only 3 sides, dumb raised ’graphic’ on 4th disc.

thinking about it, they could have issued the same amount of music at 45 rpm, over 4 sides, no extra cost; or, leave 1 side smooth, use for anti-skate; or, make a universal protractor/alignment grid, just nobody was thinking except some dumb marketing image.

they could have filled the 4th side with prior protest songs, like ’to the teeth’, if you haven’t heard it, there are other versions, this one is live from France, 2007, didn’t view/listen:

Weyes Blood / Titanic rising
She has an intoxicating voice. Nice mix of strings in the background as well.
Jim, I appreciate that consideration. I was just looking, and Discogs does not have a very good selection right now, but did find someone with a NM promo copy on eBay, and he is in Cleveland. He’s taking offers from his asking price of $150. Might be worth a message and local offer to him.
That actually seems like a very good deal for a ‘minty’ copy Jim. There are some like the Analogue Productions going for $250, and up.

Atlanta Rhythm Section  "Champagne Jam"  This thread got me on to this album last year.  I bought it on Discogs NM/M- condition for a low price.  It's a good one, I like this album.

Robert Cray  "Strong Persuader"  This was listed above so I pulled out my copy.  That's a great part about this thread.  Two years ago I bought a copy by Analogue Productions/QRP.  I forgot how good this album is, and the pressing is excellent.

Leon Russell  "Carney"  I just got this last week.  Another great one from Leon, and another great copy from Analogue Productions/QRP.
