Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
not sure when I posted last, please forgive duplicate listing

received and have listened to all my Bday LP's, enjoyed them all

Cassandra Wilson, Blue Light till Dawn, 2lp, outstanding, bests my favorite CD of hers

Norah Jones, Day Breaks, 2lp, back to her roots, quite enjoyable
https://www.discogs.com/Norah-Jones-Day-Breaks/release/11061238

Jose Feliciano, Alive Alive O, live London Palladium 1969, 2lp, wonderful

Rising Appalachia, Leylines, 2 lp, definite keeper. My copy, both lps had significant warp, send photo, they replaced it free, the replacement has slight warp, surprising, not sure if it got warped sitting in a hot truck, or manufactured with warp, sounds terrific in any case.

Ry Cooder, V.M. Bhatt, Meeting By the River. Terrific, however, needed to boost the left channel a few clicks, more than a speck, hooray for remote balance.

Kate Wolf, Lines on Paper, evidently her 2nd album, new songs for me, love her.

Two terrific gifts from a member here

Diane Schurr with Count Basie Orchestra, excellent recording, wonderful Diane, Big Band

last, maybe the best: a rare Jazz Pianist, Jazz Trio

Connie Crothers, Perception

Fleetwood Mac "Oh Well" parts 1& 2 / from the 7"/45rpm in the aforementioned box set. SQ is first rate!
Just pulled my two copies of "Can't Buy a Thrill" out of the Vibrato. One is a Speakers Corner re-master, the other is a pp re-issue. I'm sure because it isn't a black label ABC. The re-issue is on next. The other, maybe later tonight?
You know you are my brother from another mother Steve.
No worries my friend.
We are both too passionate about this hobby at times.
Cool!

When you get your spring situation worked out, I strongly suggest you pull out your two MyMats any use them without any clamp/weight.

I have a third party currently reviewing the MyMats. Will send a link when it’s done.

Steve
Interesting.
I am currently using one of the MyMat on the Avid as it gave best results atop the cork that is bonded to the platter vs no MyMat.
That is combined with the Avid screw on clamp/weight.

Right now.

Outlasting the Blues ... Arlo Guthrie.
This is a WLP and it shows.😲😲.

On the Avid/Rega/ Ortofon Black Cadenza rig.

I feel the Rega arm is the weak link on this rig and the table and Cart deserve better.
Like Reubent, I have been away fixated on a mileage target with the bike this week - I hit goal and exceeded it by 10% but left zero in the tank for evening listening....
@slaw I have been pondering the F-Mac box set but want to go crawl thru RSD leftovers at Spin Records here in Carlsbad first. I have my trade in cull box ready to go....
I keep looking at the bike hanging on the garage wall, check the heat and humidity and come to same conclusion every time..... Lol.
Maybe October will look better.😁
Tomic
I checked out a couple stores yesterday for rsd leftovers, slim pickings!
@uberwaltz

Down the road, look at Tim’s website          www.maze-audio.com   he is working on Rega arms, trying to perfect them.

"Kiln House" from the box just came back from a 'spa day'. First a trip in the ORB, then a cooling period in the Vibrato. Ahhh!
@tomic601 ,

This FM box set sounds great! I seriously doubt one could find originals sounding any better.
Slaw
I do have three Maze Audio PC but they have really been made redundant by the Shunyata PC.

I could not find anything on Rega arm mods though?
My friendly, neighborhood, postal worker just plopped down my latest find on my porch. A Minty copy of Lucinda Williams "S/T" /Rough Trade.

Will! be playing it later on.
Uber,

Can’t speak to his PCs. Only to what I have.

My Taipan Helix recommendation I believe is solid! For a more inexpensive PC....I replaced my Python Helix (1k) with a Signal Cable (silver) $169.00 and it was superior. If you ask, they’ll put a 20 amp IEC on it.

Having said this, I'm a huge fan of the Marc Tunis iCs, ( with KLE RCAs). Haven't tried his PCs but, they would be on my list.
"Can’t Buy a Thrill" SC .... sounding so gooood!

Easily superior to the re-issue.
I have no idea what was even out on rsd day....lol.

Bit of early hair metal up now.

Let it Roll ..... TKO
Alright
I see there was some Alice Cooper, Jerry Garcia, Judas Priest, Humble Pie, Soul Asylum, The Pineapple Thief.

If something along those lines Jim, shoot me a PM!

Just seen your post Slaw, I would agree!
