Hey everyone! It’s great to see this thread still going strong. I started it about 20 years ago. Been away from AudiogoN for a long time. I’ve moved, was systemless until I got a new listening space carved out. I hope to be adding my musical exploration again. Just wanted to thank you all for keeping this alive!

@slipknot1...welcome back and thanks for originally starting this!  I've had a blast with it.

A little mid-day listening today:

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds- “Live at Luther College” This is kind of a guilty pleasure. Not a big DMB fan, but Reynolds shines on this acoustic recording.

Leo Kottke - “6 and 12 String Guitars” Takoma C1024

David Gilmour - “Luck and Strange”

@bslon    +1 "Night Owl". Very few consider this a Top 100 Pop/Rock recording of the 1970's. Perhaps Chad Kassem does and will eventually bring this album to an Audiophile SQ level.

Playing off of you guys:

just back from my buddy's.....cleaned a few lps on his Degritter II.

@slaw...how well does the Degritter perform?  I've never used that particular brand.  Seems really nice.  Wish it was cheaper.  I've had my eye on the newer model from HumminGuru.

@mofimadness ,

I'm a believer. Degritter has made some nice improvements over the original from what I've read. The front panel functions are really nice and work flawlessly. Drys almost completely ( usually has a very small water drop on the bottom when pulled out). Very Quiet. Their newest fluid works great. I have owned/do own several different cleaners from VPI Record Doctor, Audio Desk org., 3 other US cleaners, also was a big proponent of steaming for a long time. At this point in my life, if I were to buy another US cleaner, it would be at the top of a short list.
