Jack Jones - R.I.P.
What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report
I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.
This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

Bill Connors - Step It Only became aware of this 1984 recording recently but the 1994 Evidence CD has been frequently listened to since. Interesting chords and time signature changes not to mention melodic, virtuoso soloing. Very good sound quality with outstanding drumming and bass work by Dave Weckl and Tom Kennedy. Steve Kahn co-produced and contributes guitar on Track 6 (Twinkle). The last 3 tracks, 6, 7 & 9 (Flickering Lights) are favorites.
