What is the best way to ship 35 lbs. to Germany?

What is the best way to ship a 35 lbs. A/V processor to Berlin Germany. How should I protect myself from getting charge later with any other fee like tax?

You boat.
A big LOL! :-D :-D
last night the (fantastic) movie U-571 was on TV & I stayed up quite late to watch it to completion. Now, I did spy a big rectangular object wrapped in a thick blanket & tied up with rope. Was it this A/V processor, by any chance??? ;-)
Definitely USPS priority, it's also the cheapest way. It will cost about $125 and the import tax pays the recipient. If he refuses to pay the tax they will send it back (on the shippers cost) or treat it as abandoned, whatever you state in the custom papers.

Alfred
I have used Fed-Ex to ship a couple of amps heavier than yours to both Tasmania and England with no issues.

The Postal service is the best way - other carriers will charge you for brokerage fees after the fact. 35 lbs should still be under the USPS limit.
