What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Nostradamus .... Judas Priest.

Qobuz.

Whats worse than a Priest album with synths?
A Priest album with synths that’s also a concept album!
Lol.
Tidal- I have a very wide range of musical preferences....

today.....
Green Day
Stone Temple Pilots
Spin Doctors

yesterday -was Diana Krall....
all I could think about was William Shatner as Captain Kirk singing jazz.

Green Day - Father of All..., Qobuz.  I know it's not the 90's now and they're all grown up, but it was kind of disappointing.  All pop and fizz, no substance.
I've had a busy week and had not yet listened to my Spotify Discover Weekly yet this week. Last night took a road trip with my 16 year old son. We played my Spotify Discover Weekly through the bluetooth connection in his Passat. Went through the whole 30 song set and did not have one single winner this week. Disappointing. It almost felt like Spotify (bot) lost all of my favorites and my past selections. This might be the first time ever that I didn't like a single selection from my Discover Weekly.

After finishing off the disappointing Discover Weekly, we stream lots of old discoveries from past Discover Weeklys. Ended up being a cracking good time once we got going. Here's a sample of some stuff that we played last night after discovering them via my Spotify Discover Weekly and saving them in my "Discovered" playlist:

Silver Jews - "San Fransico B.C."
Liz Cooper and the Stampede - "Thieves"
The Hold Steady - "Southtown Girls"
Cracker - "Euro-Trash Girl"
The Glands - "I Can See My House From Here"
Jellyfish - "The Man I Used To Be"
Courtney Marie Andrews - "Irene"
Kyle Craft - "The Rager"
Quiet Life - "Lost in the Light"
T Bone Burnett - "Palestine Texas"
Liz Phair - "Mesmerizing"
Conor Oberst - "A Little Uncanny"
Cass McCombs - "That's That"
The Yawpers - "Burdens"
Flamin' Groovies - "Whiskey Woman"
Rhett Miller - "Total Disaster"
Guided By Voices - "Motor Away"
Guadalcanal Diary - "Litany (Life Goes On)"

Good times, good times........

Eva Cassidy - Acoustic
Jean-Luc Ponty - Cosmic Messenger
Katie Melua - Ultimate Collection
Vampire Weekend - Contra
Andy McKee - Art of Motion

Qobuz
Sounds like a great road trip regardless Reubent!

Spotify is getting a handle on my tastes it seems.

Spotify Daily Mix 2 is pretty darn good today!
Phcollie.

Some great cuts there my friend!
Streaming is where it is at nowadays even though I still love spinning records and good old tapes as well.

The depth of music available at your fingertips for well under $20 a month ( a figure that will not even get you one decent new record today!) is truly wonderous!

Enjoy!👍👍
I started listening to Bryan Ferry, Live at the Albert Hall and wasn't getting into it so I decided to dial up some Roxy Music - The Best of Roxy Music, Qobuz.
Spotify is impressing me with its AI choice of songs at least so far.

Daily Mix 3
Man, I need to find one streamer service and be done

wish I could combine the best of all in one.

It really depends on your music tastes and needs.

IMHO Qobuz rules and I am ONLY using Spotify because they handed out a 3 month free trial, after that expires I will likely cancel.

I also got a 1 month free trial to try and entice me to return to Tidal so I took that as well.

However for my tastes and the SQ available Qobuz wins hands down.
That’s the problem Ube,

i don’t like change and I’ve gotten used to Tidal. I like some aspects of Qobuz and sound quality seems better.
Amazon is weak but cheap since it’s combined with the online buying service.

I used to really like Pandora but the commercials and sound quality weren’t up to par other than casual listening.
I’ve never had Spotify.
Pay for and use XM/Sirius in the car and I’m in it a lot.
I feel like I’m over subscribed.
I’m feeling like Qobuz is the match I want.
Thanks for the insight.
Chris
Terrible week with hardly any spare time at all.
Who needs work!
Oh right, I do... to feed my audio addiction of course.

Just Spotify Daily mixes is all I got so far!
A redo from last night because these 3 albums are so good.

Pointer Sisters - Steppin'
Pointer Sisters - Break Out
Pointer Sisters - The Best Of The Pointer Sisters

These ladies are awesome. Never realized the Break Out album was so good when I was a kid. Love Tidal and Qobuz for discovery.
Quadra ... Sepultura.

Qobuz hires.

If this does not get your heartbeat racing, nothing will!
NAIM added support for Q-buzz , so away we go with thirty day trial... so far good... did the sampler thing and now have a Marley playlist going...
I went to see Break on Thru – A Celebration of Ray Manzarek tonight. Listening to The Doors S/T, Qobuz, Hi-Res. Happy Birthday Ray!
tomic

I think you will be impressed with Qobuz.

Keep trying it and let us know!

A great evening Greg, glad you enjoyed it!
Tomic, I have subscriptions to Tidal, Pandora, Spotify, and Qobuz.  Qobuz is the one I listen to the most.
Neutral Milk Hotel - "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" on Spotify. A recommendation from my 16 year old son. Admittedly, I had never heard it before and I like it quite a bit.
