VTL repair

I've never heard them turn down work. EVER!. You mean it will take longer than you're willing to wait? OR They won't put you in the Que? There is a difference.

Bea, she is so wonderful to deal with. Like a corn on my big toe that I keep smacking.

Normally no matter what. SEND IT IN. They will offer ZERO assistance over the phone unless SHE remembers the sale. PERIOD.. THEN it is still send it in...

She encouraged me to email her with particulars of the problem. In the meantime I discovered Inner Sound, they are but 5hrs away in Portland.

VTL are not support their products at all even only 20 years old amps, I try to get the parts from them, but they said they are not supply any things because the amps are too old. So, don't even think try to keep it for antique.  

While for Mcintosh or Audio Research even any stuff around 50 years old they are still very happy to help you with upgrade or any parts you need 

Consider this a blessing in disguise that you don't have to deal with VTL. What a nightmare.

You can try Bill Thalmann at Music Technology in northern virginia. But last year he was pretty backed up too.

This is surprising VTL will not support their older equipment. I really was hoping VTL could add biasing features to one of their older amps. There are a couple outfits here in Oregon catering to high end repair.

Luke and Bea are probably the most horrible people in all of audio.....   they really suck.   You will not find a more arrogant couple than them in this biz.....

Same problem here with my Tiny Triodes that need servicing.Told me at least six months wait.Told me not to send it to her.I have never heard anything so idiotic in all 50 years of this hobby.I am in Texas.Any reccomendations for repair.
