My opinion is that a virtual show is different than a live one, probably inferior but still better than nothing for aggregating news from those manufacturers that show up. Not to much to be gleaned from dealers. If you term a deadly worldwide virus with unseen contagion a scamdemic you are mischaracterizing what's happening.
You are quite free to ignore both but the second at your peril.
