Sometimes there's some excellent music on a movie soundtrack that isn't listed in the credits. It just says "music by so and so" and I can't seem to locate it on Google.I found a couple of decent artists from "Walking Dead" ,Lee DeWyse and Ben Howard.
TV / Movies worth Listening To
Just curious what A'goners who use their audio system for video think.
Are there series or movies you feel brings out the best in them? I'm not _only_ talking about bass and effects. The bullets flying past your ear as you watch, but also immersion, that feeling you are THERE that is from the sound track, as well as music.
Ever been pulled out of your watching experience because the music playing was so good and well recorded? Did a movie or TV show introduce a new band/orchestra or musical work to you?

No TV/movies are worth tuning on my high end system. Have a listen to the rare HDCD Sony version of John Williams "Rosewood" instrumental movie sound track, it’s the stuff hifi shows are made for. Not too many of John Williams have been compressed either http://dr.loudness-war.info/album/list/1?artist=John+Williams Rosewoods not included here yet though. Cheers George |
