From what I can see, it is two seperate components. Seller may have uploaded the wrong photo with the amp? I've messaged to ask for a photo of the streamer.

Moon website explains it fairly well. From my memory the Mind is a separate component to turn the DAC into a streamer

It is one component. The Mid2 player is housed in the 280d. I used to own one. That is a really good deal. Great DAC and player in one unit.

It’s a used component. You should ask for at least 30% off. Otherwise, it’s an ok deal. Also ask the seller about the age. 

The MiND is available separately and also as part of some Simaudio preamps and integrated amps.

I have to ask,

Have you decided this is THE model you want? seller says retail 2500, sale 2000. If new with warranty is 2500, I'd rethink, buy new or offer less.

If still on factory warranty, perhaps transferable, the maker will cover you for remaining time? or at least ask seller if they will help you make a repair claim under their name.

If the retail price is indeed $2500, then the seller's asking price makes no sense. In my experience, any dealer will give you 10% off of retail right off the bat. Most will go as high as 20% ... although, in today's post-covid audio dystopia all bets are off! 

OP should contact a dealer to see what kind of pricing they can offer. Why take a chance on used just to save a couple of hundred dollars?

I ended up passing on it. I am streaming 24/192 and have no need for DSD capabilities.
