Tone Arm lifts at end of playing a record

@knock1 I'd imagine if his tracking force is way too light, it would also be more likely to pop out (I've seen this). It's likely the record though.

klimt, I installed AT6006R safety riser on sl1200gae, precisely, and.. voila, one record can’t reach to the end, at one side.. that record has abnormal short runout track at one side, no worries, all other PLs are fine! 

Some thoughts, and likely force related - too light, so it pops out:

1. Some records can be different than others towards the end.

2. Check the tracking force (pressure on record) setting for your player & cartridge (e.g: 1.8g) - if you haven't yet make sure the tracking force is set properly - there are some youtube video's to watch. 

- I suspect it might be too low so can pop out.

3. Make sure your anti-skating force is properly set (usually this should match tracking force). Mine is slightly higher. 

Hope this helps, I suspect you've set the tracking or anti-skating force a bit too low so it pops out.

I use a Little Fwend. With about an 800-900 LP collection, early lift happens to me on only 2 of my albums. It's definitely the short runout 

Unlike CD players, some turntables are picky about the music being played. Obviously your turntable doesn’t like the end of that record. Or maybe it just can’t wait to get it over with, is it Bruce Springsteen?

That one record most likely has short run out groove ( the blank space  between the label and the last recording!

Place a bubble level on the cueing platform that contacts the bottom of the tonearm to raise, and lower it. My bet it is not level and is canted upward.
