Time to make a change ?

Not disputing the fact that Lumin makes good sounding streamers but their UI is pretty user unfriendly.

Aurender is great and has a very nice UI but the first model that features AES output is N20 at $12,000.

That’s why I recommended Roon as an option with your Boulder 866. It’s free to try as long as you have a computer you can install it on that is located anywhere in the house on the same network as your 866, you’ll eliminate your Node and end up with better sound and arguably the best in the world UI for streaming music. You can always upgrade to a better streamer later.

Fwiw the Stream Magic app for CA will return you to your prior position as long as you don’t sign out.  You can also access the queue and pull up your last listens and then leap from there back to your last place in the stored files.

Started out with the Pulse mini, recently got the Pulse am gobsmacked at what I get to listen to. Originally had a Marantz sr5015 for HEOS streaming. It’s a world of difference between the two.

Once again with such sweet setups, one could even imagine a Pulsar. 

I’m looking at the Innuos Pulse.  But at your equipment level get the Pulsar and call it a day. Also the guy right above me knows his stuff. Cheers , Mike

If I understand correctly what you are saying, the Lumin app does what you want.

Time to learn a new word with as nice of systems that you have. Your new word of the day is Innuos.

thanks for the response. I guess I thought it was a planned feature. It will be something I will ask about if I change to a different streamer.

I'm not sure that any other player will return to where one left off in a playlist. Good luck finding one. BluOs tech might have never even thought of it.   It's not like resuming a movie on Netflix. I only listen in random mode 99% of the time. A non issue for me. 

Maybe you'll have to hire a hacker.
