Stereophile review of Millercarbon system featuring Tektron speakers

Looks like the former forum (?) member is active on a new venue and format.  Good for him:

Millercarbon Review at Stereophile

Something that was omitted from the review article is that were Holostages from Heartsound Audio used throughout the room and placed on equipment. Everything matters.

Did this writeup claim MC speakers bettered the $1M Wilson’s? Did they ever find the allusive $1M Wilson speakers?

Almost every issue of stereophile contains a low budget system all the way to the more expensive systems. Well, they met their goal to showcase a cheaper system.

It is just a listing of his kit. No explanation of what any of it brings to the table or WHY he thinks it is good. I could explain on all my kit why I bought it and what it does that I was looking for

I stopped by the room and looked over the gear and setup.

The Moabs MC has are the base model. I give Eric some credit

for offering a Moab  upgrade adding  the s/b acoustics Be tweeter

and some XO upgrades. I recently heard these updated speakers

with an Orchard Audio amp and they provided everything the base

model is missing.

That was an interesting mini review from the show. He mentions the Moabs as if they have never been reviewed before, and then, he, a fairly well-known reviewer who has been around all of this for years, says that he has never heard of Origin Live before. That seems strange to me as I've been aware of them for years, and I don't even own a turntable.
