Well, in most cases that works. But with this person, it was like a slow, water drip torture session. He went out of his way to dissect and comb thru every utterance made and throw it back in people's faces.
I stayed away for as long as I could, reading his responses which had, at first blush, the appearance of thoughtful rebuttals but there was lots of angst and barely hidden bile in the way he'd word things, all the while claiming no harm, but....
And all of this seemed to be in response for most not buying into what he'd say, no matter his calls to higher authorities, strained analogies, guilt by leaps of logic, and so on.
Other than that, yea, ignore him.
