@OP Is the Bryston throwing up any error messages?

Have you connected the Smooth Lan according to the sequence indicated by Stack?

Upnp issue - The BDP-3 can implement all 3 major functions
common to the uPnP and DLNA standard. They
are disabled by default. Enable them through the
services menu

One thing right off the bat, Stack Audio LAN is not Gigabit Ethernet compatible. I experienced the same issue with first generation ENO filter and sold it off.
