Received the smooth Lan

My Bryston Bdp-3 wont run with it in line

If i install it between the modem and router it works but difficult to tell if its doing anything

Have you connected the Smooth Lan according to the sequence indicated by Stack? Upnp issue - The BDP-3 can implement all 3 major functions common to the uPnP and DLNA standard. They are disabled by default. Enable them through the services menu
