@sbank Spencer, thank you for the very kind comments on my music room. I love the variety that you have...not to mention the memories you must have :) @nonoise I love all of your artwork. Absolutely beautiful! Also, thank you for sharing the imgpile link :) @tomic601 Hi Jim, thank you for the compliment on my music room :) I couldn't figure out how to post the images at first either. Then I uploaded them to flicker and then used their link to post here. I don't think I had to mess with any resizing at all. Might be worth a try. We'd love to see your room too :) Best wishes to all, Don

I just created an account on imgpile.com and it was pretty qucik and painless. I got it from a review of photo and image sharing sites as one of the better ones. Unless you have tons of stuff to upload, it should work well enough for what you need to do here. All the best, Nonoise |
@sbank , that is too cool. I've read that some art history academic was asked who was the most overated and underated artists in America and he answered: Wyeth, for both. It all depends on your persepective. @mapman , same here. Sbank did say mention, above, the hassle of having to upload your photos to another site like IMGUR and then going thru the process of transferring them here. Hopefully Admin can do a work around like when posting your system photos. All the best, Nonoise

@nonoise Very cool. I used to live a town over from Chadds Ford, PA, where the Wyeth family lived and painted most of those local scenes. There's a fantastic breakfast joint called Hank's Place where they are rumored to hang out. Try any dish including the local mushrooms! Cheers, Spencer |
@sbank yeah, it's cumbersome for sure... at least Agon is making a peek out of the dark ages! |
@no_regrets Beautiful! That room just calls you in like a siren song. @aseaman007 redbubble, fineartamerica and etsy have tons. Many are "print on demand by various individuals, so choose sellers carefully @millercarbon if you tried to post an image and are surprised that it didn't appear in the post, I feel your pain. Although the new functionality is certainly a step forward, I guess there's a learning curve or some wonky functionality. It took me a number of tries, finally manually editing pixel values in the source code before they all fit okay. We'll get there. Cheers, Spencer |
This is a neat idea. One of my interests happens to be photography and I love taking portraits of local musicians as they are performing. I of course share the images with the various musicians, but I also like to develop the prints and hang them on my the walls of my music room. I also hired an artist to paint a couple classical pieces as well. I’m technically challenged, but will try and post an image. Fingers crossed that this works :)
Best wishes, Don |
