Here I go...
Andrew Jones did a great job on this speakers and thanks to all of you for that suggestion. I am not a Steve Guttenberg and according to E. Hoffman: "Music And Brain" everybody listens different. With plenty of different music and listening (break in my ears) for a month now I can say: The best $ 100 I have ever spend so far.
But - these speakers are very sensitive to positioning. Therefore I decided to look for speaker stands but I was not able to find something pleasing under $ 300.
I found some old Hotel lights made from steel with cast iron foot at a recycling shop and modified them to speaker stands and gave them even rolling feet and sand filled everything hollow.
Now I am a very happy camper from classical to rock.
Yes, you get more than what you pay with this speakers. And yes, a sub I think would be a nice addition. And my 80 watts amp feeds them all nice to a volume of about 40%. If I crank it up more the speakers start to react with distortion. But 40% is more than I need since I mostly go with 30% volume.
Over all: My kudo to the designer. It costs no effort, not much money to be in AWE. Listening to this combination is not just consumption but imagination, very satisfied. Thanks again
