Reliable Dealer for 6CS7 tubes

Just to wrap up this thread; hopefully once and for all.

I did locate two reliable online sources for 6CS7 tubes.

They are Tubeworld express in Wisconsin and dB tubes in Canada.

Just in case anyone else is searching for replacement preamp tubes for their cs600.

I appreciate everyones' help and suggestions.

I did reach out to Y Hontani and he did say the modification is available.  I must say I am wondering if its available in the USA as in the recent past, J Halpern stated it was not.  But if it is an option, has anyone ever heard the sound of the modified cs 600?

The US distributor shared that the preamp tubes do not have to be a complete match.

@rivinyl Have you contacted Yoshi Hontani about the modification? He's responsive and very helpful.

Unfortunately, those vendors both have a single tube.  I did reach out to High End Repair and he emphatically told me there was no such modification available or planned.

Tube Amp Doctor seems to have them.

On the Leben modification, if you haven't already, reach out to James Koch of High End Repair in Arizona. 

Brent Jessee has them listed in his inventory. 

Yes, but thats not the issue.  I have found the matching is not reliable.  So one thinks they are buying a quad of NOS only to find out later that were not well matched.

I just checked there are 6CS7 tubes available at Ebay. Most of them are NOS.
