Pure Fidelity / Rega

Has anyone heard a Rega P10 or Naia vs a Pure Fidelity Harmony table?  Depending on how you spec them, they are relatively close in price.  I can't find a way to demo both, so looking for any insights anyone has regarding how they sound, both different and/or alike.

NOT a bad space to be in.

Quite familiar with P10. Feel safe in saying anyone considering Rega at the highest level is getting their money's worth.

PF appears to get positive reviews.

If it were me, I would be looking at used stuff as well. I've heard one of these at a show. Just me, I'd be all over this, or whatever.

A LITTLE more $ could get something REALLY interesting.

Whatever you decide, enjoy it.

I recently bought a Naia package and very happy with it. In terms of design philosophy and looks your two contenders are at opposite ends of the spectrum. That's for you to figure out for yourself.

I looked at some of the pure harmony YouTube videos and based on that I removed them from consideration as I could see the platter wobble in the video!!! And I mean the platter, not a problem with a warped record.

I’ve demoed both thr NAIA and p10.  They have a similar sound.

Very upper mid range forward.  I found both of them brittle and rather abrasive and thin. They are lively but zero weight or body.
Both powered by expensive Naim amps.
Both ran cartridges installed by Rega.  The NAIA had the top of the line cartridge from Rega.  Can’t remember the name.

I own the Pure Fidelity Harmony Mark II with the Savant tone arm.
The Pure Fidelity is a blend of the playfulness of a VPI Avenger with the weight of a Dr Feickert.  I demoed all 3 with the same amps, same room and moved the same cartridge between tables.

I would go with the Pure Fidelity table.   It’s also much better looking than a Rega…especially in the quilted maple.

Thanks for the responses and insights.  My concerns and comments from others outside this forum on the Rega match Sanctus555's experience.  I'm more and more leaning towards the Pure Fidelity.  Sanctus555, what phono stage are you using, and is it something you would recommend?  I wanted a Luxman EQ-500, but it has been discontinued.

Could come down to aesthetics; I think PF are some of the best looking 'tables I've seen, and if I was in the market, I'd certainly be giving that serious consideration. Those Regas are great too, but they couldn't be more different looking...

My phonostage is a Line Magnetic LP-33.

I like some warmth and some bloom in my sound. I don’t like super detailed…I want just enough detail. The LP-33 provides me that sound. And it’s only like $2k.

i use it with the Line Magnetic 805ia integrated.
This combo with my Devore o/93s creates a beautifully rich and holographic sound.
The treble is on the softer side, which is my preference

I’ve demoed 150k+ systems with Magico, CH Precision and Kuzma table with a 4Point9 tonearm…which left me cold and wanting to scoop the glass out of my ears.  Too much damn detail. If this is the type of sound you like,,,you probably won’t like the LP-33.
