Proposal:

A new Audiogon discussion forum: Automotive Audio

shalmaneser

why do you need  this for ?        you start a new forum and then someone wants to add something else later on that is not audio related.

this is a audio site, lets leave it at that.

I never upgraded my wheels from the tricycle I got when I was 4 years old.  I have always been into vintage equipment with analog power supplies

Bad idea. As it stands now all you have to do is say "car" and certain members start bragging about the Porches and Ferraris in their past and present in detail.

I think this one site is enough. People do comment on vehicle audio here from time to time, but in my opinion that stuff is not really hi-fi.

Done with cars in the 60’s. First two were a Mercedes 4 on the tree then a GTO ragtop. Then a Cabriolet and a Renault. Only crashed 2 outta 4.

Favorite was 6 years in a new Petercar.

Last time I had a nice audio system in my car, some SOB broke into that car and stole it.  After that, Quoth The Raven, Never More!

I'll contribute my amp suggestion to the unneeded car audio forum thread

I heard a full setup years ago, and was blown away by the performance. I don't mean silly loud, thumping but convincing sonics clearly above the average "hi end" car audio setup.
