Uh, because I listened to them.
Right but I don't think I have to tell you that everyone's ears are different and what is desirable to one person may not be to another. I was referring to dismissing them for others without knowing what's important to them. For example, my system is a hybrid home theater/music setup where I want a matching center and surrounds. Many of the brands you listed in your previous post don't even make center channels. They are purely dedicated 2ch options...which is fine but not everyone's use case.
Uh, what? Sorry, I’m all about sound quality when it comes to speakers, or anything really, in audio.
Well ideally sound quality will come first. But as a married man with two young kids aesthetics matter to me a lot...almost as much as the sound quality. Both in terms of the look (WAF) and the size and ease of integration into the decor. These are areas that Paradigm excels at as they deliberately make relatively compact and slim designs that can look great and fit well into almost any room size. Other things such as accessibility (do I have to drive many hours or fly out to get to a dealer that actually carries them) and support (what happens when I need repairs or service) matter as well
Unless you are a Paradigm fan, who really cares what they do in the future?
Ummm....I think you answered your own question in this question. Isn't it implied that if you are NOT a fan of a company you won't care what they do? If you love BMW for example, you probably are not concerned by what Hyundai does right? Although maybe you are just a fan of cars in general and are open to all brands 🤔
Do you happen to work for or own stocks in Paradigm?
Lol...not at all
The Paradigm website Products selection begins with "Home Theater / Stereo."
Nuff said.
Ok I am getting older now but when did "audio" start excluding home theater? Doesn't a speaker produce sounds from all sources? The fact that Paradigm makes the complete line of home theater products from subs to surrounds to amps (via Anthem) is one of their best attributes for many. The Persona is one of the best "do it all" speakers you can find today. Super efficient, easy to drive, highly dynamic makes it great for HT while also being super low distortion, fast, accurate and full range which is great for music. I agree compared to other cost no object dedicated music speakers, it may not measure up for some. But again everyone is going to have something different that appeals to them
