Power transition

Hi there! Moving my system to Europe, any advise/suggestion on how best manage the power transition to 220 V?
Mc Intosh C 2600 and MC 601. Thanks a lot!!!

I'd talk to Mc first, many devices are built for dual voltage, or at least affordable conversion.
Depends on the particulars of your situation. If it is just one thing and if the one thing can be easily converted then that may well be the way to go. But even then I have to say "may" because it is never just the one thing. Everything has a plug, and all those need to change as well. Depending on your system this could well wind up being a whole lot of things.

Or on the other hand it could be just one. You could use one step-down transformer to go from 220 to 110, connect that to your power conditioner, and plug everything in just like before. Then if you return to 110 land you can either sell the step down or do like I do and run 220 to 110. https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/8367
Look in your owner's manual. If it the voltage is field convertible, then follow the instructions. If it is factory set, then call McIntosh.
Permanently or just a few years? Because if it's temporary, I'd buy an integrated amp and a source once I got there and sell it when I left.
