Depends on the particulars of your situation. If it is just one thing and if the one thing can be easily converted then that may well be the way to go. But even then I have to say "may" because it is never just the one thing. Everything has a plug, and all those need to change as well. Depending on your system this could well wind up being a whole lot of things.
Or on the other hand it could be just one. You could use one step-down transformer to go from 220 to 110, connect that to your power conditioner, and plug everything in just like before.
