my 1000 dollar speakers and million dollar speaker stands

I wasn't kidding about the footers linked above (in the deleted thread I recommended 1/2" rubber walking cane tips as the OP was looking for better footers).

This second thread reminded me that I forgot to order replacement rubber tips for my cane (owned and used off/on since 1973) and they are now in our Amazon basket as I ran out of spares.

@roxy54  I don't know. There was another comment that shows up in my feed but I can't read it as the discussion was removed. 

Why? Was something controversial said? I didn't see anything confrontational while I was watching it.
