Why? Was something controversial said? I didn't see anything confrontational while I was watching it.

I think that a derogatory comment about David Tennant got it closed down and/or the Coolhand Luke jokes.

guess what, yesterday I saw a tripod lamp that did look like my stand too. I bet it sold for $29.99

If you ever want to change the legs on those stands to fit your decor these should do the trick!!

I wasn't kidding about the footers linked above (in the deleted thread I recommended 1/2" rubber walking cane tips as the OP was looking for better footers).

This second thread reminded me that I forgot to order replacement rubber tips for my cane (owned and used off/on since 1973) and they are now in our Amazon basket as I ran out of spares.
