Thanks guys, you all demolished my options. I put those options out because I know the names and since you can not test all the cables, I thought you can atleast trust the brand to offer a decent quality cable. I am curious about Cerious although I am somewhat sceptical about Black Cat Cable. I read an interview with that guy and he said he buys the loom and tries different combo's to see what sounds best. So for someone who builds the cables in house by himself, I feel like he charges a bomb. Also there is no technical info as to what material he uses etc. So I feel like he is snake oil, but then again its an opinion purely on my observation.

I preferred this $40 Apogee cable to my Stereovox XV2, which I believe is the same guy behind Black Cat.  I think John Atkinson used this as his reference for a while as well, if that even means anything.  The Apogee was more natural sounding without the sharp-edged detail of the XV2 and with better tonal completeness.  Very neutral overall and definitely worth a shot at this price for a new 75-Ohm cable.  Best of luck.

For a few years, I've been using a Snake River Boomslang coax cable from Oppo 203 to DirectStream dac, although it looks like I'll be switching over to using HDMI/I2S with the Oppomod card primarily. I haven’t read through all the responses, but a choice should consider your tonal taste. I like warm, and from that standpoint I’d suggest considering the Boomslang (reversed direction is even warmer). Beyond that, the more expensive Purist Audio Neptune is lush and warm. Whoa, wait!  You mean there's a way to use I2S with my Oppo 203?  I just bought a PS Audio Stellar Gain DAC/pre-amp, and was thinking I'd have to pick up a PS Audio Direct Stream Memory Player to be able to play my CDs and SACDs over the I2S connection. 

What can you tell me briefly about this mod, how much it costs, how it can be performed, etc.?  Do you have a link?  Thanks.

Would you describe the Boomslang as a warm sound cable or the warmth that's describe relates to the ability to capture overtones, body of instruments and overall ambiance retrieval without sacrificing detail?

Based on your definitions of warmth, the Boomslang fits into the latter description and not the former. They are not euphonic, slow, thick, nor do they have the rolled off highs that characterizes your first description of “warm”.  They are very musical cables!
