how do I know if my lossless files are PCM or DSD?

as above. The files are all in FLAC extension. (Most of them are CD rips)

Thanks

All FLAC and ALAC (Apple's version) is PCM and lossless.

MQA is PCM but lossy.

yeah me.

all i did was google the OP's question using google, which i then found a site that explained this.

What's the Difference Between PCM and DSD? – AURALIC LIMITED

@riley804 is right. If your source material is CD, then you have PCM audio.

Ripping SACD from a disc requires special software and specific models of universal disc players.

arent pcm used in dvd audio , hd-video, and blue ray disk where dsd is sacd ?
