Hope that gets you there.  3 copies left.  I scored the CD x 2 from Winnipeg Records for well over 200 CAD plus shipping.  So this is not a light affair.  My rationalization was, I do not need another pair of interconnects.

My brother who has my old Genesis 500 speakers (he replaced all the drivers and the servo amps with Gary’s current models for the current iteration of that speaker) loves big band recordings and plays big band trombone himself. I’ll look for any of this band’s recordings. Where did you finally locate the double CD you just acquired? Discogs?

How I miss live big band music.

My wife and I's first real date was to see Woody Herman and his Thundering Herd at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver and it was magical. We also saw Buddy Rich and his band there a few years later  and I don't know who was more grumpy. Woody or Buddy.

If anyone wants to understand what real music sounds like, there is nothing to compare live big band music. 

This double album does not appear in my 20  albums collection of these marvellous jazz musicians ...

Thank you for suggestions.  I've all of Gordon Goodwin's recordings.  Guess what?  My favorite watering genius, Bernie Grundman.
