Holy Grail Analogue Recording Big Band found!

Years long quest for Toshiko Akyoshi-Lew Tabackin Big Band "Road Time" CD x 2 resolved!  Beautifully digitally remastered with all of the richness and glory of premier remote tape recording.

Oh, and the band...frighteningly great.  Scary!  Never a moments doubt of the performances, just taken aback by the dynamics and sound stage of a 1976 live recording.

Highest praise to Toshiko, Lew, band members, technical recording crew and mastering for a truly seminal effort.  Raise a glass to all facets wondrously executed perfection.

Highest caliber musicianship that should not only be enjoyed and appreciated, but carefully studied by practitioners of the art.  These recordings are a pure clinic in tight ensemble work, balance of sections and outrageous solo work.  These guys have world class chops!

Thank you for suggestions.  I've all of Gordon Goodwin's recordings.  Guess what?  My favorite watering genius, Bernie Grundman.

Discogs.  Very hard to find.  https://www.discogs.com/release/2844359-Toshiko-Akiyoshi-Lew-Tabackin-Big-Band-Road-Time

Hope that gets you there.  3 copies left.  I scored the CD x 2 from Winnipeg Records for well over 200 CAD plus shipping.  So this is not a light affair.  My rationalization was, I do not need another pair of interconnects.
